Randolph Pohlman, Ph.D.

Randolph Pohlman is Professor and Dean Emeritus of the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Pohlman served as the Dean of the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University from 1995 to 2009. He served as a Senior Executive at Koch Industries; the second largest privately held company in the US from 1990 to 1995. He also served as a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of California, Los Angeles since 1983 and was a Member of the Executive Education Advisory Board of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has been a Director of Pharmamatrix Acquisition Corporation since May 2005. He served as a Director at Bright Mountain Media, Inc. (Bright Mountain Acquisition Corporation) from March 23, 2015 to June 2, 2017. In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors of e-Resource Capital Group; and Black Diamond Asset Management, LLC. He is an active presence in the South Florida community serving as a Trustee, Member of the Joint Executive Committee and Member of the Board of Governors for the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. He serves as the Chairman of the Northern Trust Entrepreneur’s Roundtable. He serves as a Member of Board of Advisors at DonorCommunity, Inc. Dr. Pohlman served as an Independent Director of Viragen Inc. from December 4, 2003 to 2007. He served as a Trustee for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce. He served as a Director Clark LLC (formerly Clark/Bardes Holdings Inc.) from June 1998 to March 12, 2007 and also served as Lead Director until March 12, 2007. He served as a Director of Clark Consulting Inc., a subsidiary of Clark LLC until March 12, 2007 and served as its Lead Director. He served as a Director for As Seen On TV, Inc. from March 31, 2012 to April 2, 2014 and Infusion Brands International, Inc. until April 2, 2014. He served as a Director of Metropolitan Health Networks Inc., since September 2002. He served as a Director of OneTravel Holdings, Inc. (Alsoknown as RCG Companies Inc., and Previously Eresource Capital Group Inc.) since November 4, 2002. From April 1990 to July 1995, he served as Director of Human Resources World Wide for Koch Industries. From February 1996 to July 1998, he served as a Member of Clark/Bardes Inc.’s predecessor company’s advisory board. Dr. Pohlman also served as Chairperson of the 2001 GMCC Cutting Edge Award Committee, served as Chairperson of the Judging Committee for the 2002 GMCC Cutting Edge Award and serves in the same position for 2003. He served as a Member of the 2004 GMCC Cutting Edge Award Committee and was Chief Judge for the 2002, 2003 and 2005 GMCC Cutting Edge Awards. In addition to his teaching and numerous articles in the areas of finance and organizational behavior, he has written two books entitled Understanding the Bottom Line: Finance for Non-financial Managers and Supervisors and Value Driven Management: How to Create and Maximize Value Over Time for Organizational Success. He is also sought as a Management Consultant and Advisor. He was recruited to Koch via Kansas State University, where for fourteen years, he served the college in a variety of administrative and faculty positions including holding the L.L. McAninch Chair of Entrepreneurship and served as Dean of the College of Business Administration, a position he held from 1984 to 1990. Dr. Pohlman received his Bachelor and Master of Science in Business Administration from Kansas State University and a Ph.D. in Finance and Organizational Behavior from Oklahoma State University.
